The Carlitos Ministry is partnering with missionary Roberto De Lucia and his team, as they use Carlitos to bring the gospel to poor and at-risk kids in southeast Brazil. The monkeys are made in Brazil and the materials are printed there as well – all in Portuguese! The ministry is through “Word of Life” and is called Vinde Meninos. They are located in Atibaia, a city near Såo Paulo. They use after-school programs and they travel to small villages to spread the good news to these vulnerable children!

The Carlitos Ministry has an ongoing ministry in Brazil! It all began when I met a local missionary, Roberto De Lucia, at a mission conference hosted by our church in October of 2023. We dreamed of starting a Carlitos ministry in Portuguese for children in Brazil. That dream became reality when the ministry was established there in 2024. The ministry continues to reach impoverished and at-risk kids!
