Imagine Ukrainian refugee children with their own Carlitos Be Brave plush monkeys & his Be Brave gospel packets, while Carlitos teaches them about how Jesus loves them and can help them be brave!
This is our mission – to get Carlitos and the gospel message into the hands of displaced & war-affected children in Ukraine, along with refugee children who end up in the USA – all in their own language! Carlitos is not just a toy to them. He is a much-needed therapy tool. These kids have faced traumatic situations that most of us will never see in our lifetimes. Carlitos not only comforts these kids, but points them to their Ultimate Source of comfort, Jesus!
We work with a number of humanitarian groups, missionaries, local pastors & volunteers in Ukraine to give away the Ukrainian version of Carlitos and his Be Brave materials to thousands of traumatized and victimized kids affected by the invasion.
While the groups deliver food, clothes and necessities for physical needs, Carlitos helps meet their spiritual needs. He shares the hope of the gospel and gives them tools to be brave. Everything is manufactured, printed, assembled and delivered in Ukraine. This helps their economy and provides much needed jobs for the Ukrainian people.
We are already finding many refugee children who found their way to America with their Mother and/or relatives through government programs. Put yourself in their shoes. New country, far from home. They are missing their friends, their school & their family members (mostly their dads). They don’t know the language. They aren’t familiar with our schools or our culture, and they have no friends. Not to mention they carry the scars from what they have seen back home. What better way to welcome them than with Carlitos and his Be Brave items in their own language?
We make the Ukrainian monkeys in China and have them shipped here. We have the packet items printed here in Tampa. We have already impacted hundreds of refugees, and we have access to literally thousands more!
