Hope For Refugees! Carlitos at Work in Ukraine

I am teaming with my artist Karina Kozhina and her sister Veronika to reach internally displaced & traumatized children affected by the war in Ukraine. Many are separated from or no longer have their Dads or family. Karina now lives in Italy, and illustrates everything in the Ukrainian language. Veronika manages the entire Ukraine Ministry from her home city of Odesa, Ukraine. She and I work with many local churches, pastors, missionaries, humanitarian workers and volunteers, who all distribute Carlitos and his gospel materials to hurting children throughout Ukraine. The monkeys are made in Ukraine and all the materials are printed there. To date Carlitos has impacted over 13,000 children in Ukraine! See detailed info about the Ukrainian Ministry here.

The Ukraine Ministry all started when the war broke out, causing families to be broken up and displaced. Three of my artists are Ukrainian. (They were my artists long before the war began.) Two ended up as refugees (one in Italy and one in Israel). Karina, (my artist now in Italy), her sister Veronika and I dreamed together of putting together a Carlitos Ministry for children affected by the war. So we prayed and planned, and that dream became reality just months later! Now the ministry is still growing and reaching countless children throughout the entire country of Ukraine, in their own language! (See their full story here).
